I would like to tender in my resignation with effect from 26th May 2005. My last day of service will be on 25th June 2005. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the management for your guidance throughout my stay.

A recent phone chat with Terran, my University friend cum neighbour revealed that he has quitted his full time job to pursue his own dreams. Who stole my CHEESE???

This week, there was a lot of excitement going on among the employees at Seawater Corp. because it is the "Cheese" distribution time. It is the time when many people thought they should be duly rewarded for all the hard work that they have put in for the past year. I had a good talk with my manager, Mr D on this Marc: Will I get high increment this year? D: You know, there is only this piece of Cheese and there are 9 of you... Marc: Will I get promoted this year? D: Out of the 9 guys inside my team, I can only promote 1. Marc: Isn't that 10%? D : Statistically, you are right! Marc: But D, I couldn't wait that long! D: You know, I waited 10 years before I become a manager, Marc: Speechless..... Connie, HDA Team Leader at H...

When I first worked at H, I didn't really know what HDD automation is all about. There were no manuals to refer to and not one to seek guidance from. My boss advise me that the best way to learn about these machines' operations is to stand there physically and understand how they operate.I was pretty amazed with their superior automation process, something which M needs to learn from. On my 3rd day of work, I decided to don my "spiderman suit" and do some observation. Just as I was observing how the IB station works, a friendly and chatty lady operator approaches me: Connie: Hello, are you new here? Marc: Yup, my first day here.
