Canon Photomarathon 2007...

The Straits Times are not lying when they mentioned that there are 1082 participants for this event! Hmmmm, I wonder if there are more Nikon or Cannon owners down there?

John Cosgrove (Contributing Editor of PHOTOVIDEOi Magazine) holding the first theme of the day. He is also one of the 3 panel judges for the event.

Theme 1 - Passion

I caught this picture while one of my team mates, Terran is busy catching the shot. This is passion, right?

JS has one of the best lens among us, 70 - 300mm. All efforts to sabotage him during the event did not work as planned :)

Theme 2 - Challenge

This shot was taken while the man is busy gazing at the computer screens.

Theme 3 - Playtime!

This shot was taken while we are walking past the padang. These girls from Cedar Girls schools are busy preparing their tents for Sunday's Women 10KM run. They were very excited when we start shooting at them and decided to post this jubilant shot for us...

For those who wanted to lay their hands on the limited edition of Canon 2007 Photomarathon polo T-shirt, I have decided to sell it on E-Bay for US$30. Don't worry, it will be washed:)

Above shots are all taken with Nikon D50, 18-55mm kits lens:)

Theme 1 - Passion
Should be
Rule 1 - Passion

I believe everything you do (in life) PASSION is always THE MOST IMPORTANT.

I've been in the Quality line for many years...because of PASSION.

I've keep fish for many years too....because of PASSION.

Once my very rich friend's father told us "if you have passion in what you do, $ will comes along". I believe it.

However, passion in what you do (in your job or personal life) without support from the people above you or love ones = "zero"; your passion will run dry.

Passion = hard work (which you don't find it hard but enjoyable).
Keep fish is the love my in life, but it comes with a lot of hard work (changing water at least once a week) but I find it enjoyable.

Find the passion in your life and it will lead you the way. With the support from your love ones, you will success in whatever you do. That's what I believe.
